http://www.themostperfectview.com/barcelona-hotels-best-views/ I have never (other than 2 years running of going to Newquay in the school holidays) been on a girls holiday so I was so excited when we booked Barcelona for my 30th birthday and wow, it did not disappoint!
Honestly, I could not recommend Barcelona enough. It was an amazing city, absolutely huge, and so many amazing sights to see. The first day we walked to Gaudi's Casa Batlló and then we caught the open top bus tour and hopped on and off around the city. It was the best way to get around the city. The second day we walked around the city and both days, we ate lovely breakfasts with orange juice and coffee, and we obviously ate loads of tapas! I couldn’t pin point one favourite sight we saw as it was the time that I spend with my friends that meant the most to me. We stayed in a lovely Airbnb in a really nice area and it was just nice to get away from England and enjoy some time together. Joe invited all of the partners and kids over to our house to have a mad weekend of kids, animals and lads lads lads! Well…it ended up with nearly all the kids and all the lads, coming down with a sickness bug!! So we returned to sicky boys and babies. And then some of the girls caught it as well! I had major anxiety on the plane, literally hate turbulence but my best friend was able to make me feel better and luckily it’s a fairly short flight. We are already planning Paris next year for Em’s 30th so any suggestions on time of year to go, places to see and areas to stay in would be much appreciated! Big love, Jessie X
