Eden Project - Expedition Space

We were invited by the lovely lot at The Eden Project to see the preview of Expedition Space, which is running this summer and we had a great time!

Felicity absolutely loved the ice water slide and was laughing the whole time. She also loved the cars on the moon experience. Myself and my friend went on the Mission to Mars (details below) and thought it was incredible. We then had a cheeky burrito and soft drink for dinner, which was lovely. Felicity also really enjoyed the mini golf experience (the boys did too!).

The boys went off and did a Virtual Reality space experience, which they loved and wouldn't stop raving about!

We had a walk around some of the beautiful gardens and finished it all off by having a lovely ice cream.

The event was fantastic, really well organised and run (they even got a car to take me up to the car park as I was so tired and sore by the end...#20weekspregnant)

This is taken from the Eden website on some of the experiences they are putting on;

• Mercury mini golf: Try your hand at a round of mini golf, negotiating craters and lava flows as you go.
• Super-fast Space slide: Join us for an exhilarating 34-metre run down the icy slopes of Saturn's moon (18-metre experience available for younger daredevils, aged five and under).
• Caving on Titan: Tunnel your way through Titan’s rocky chambers in our subterranean caving experience. 
• Moon buggy driving: Do you have the skills to get your moon buggy across the lunar landscape? Stop by the Renault Space Driving School to find out, and pick up your Lunar Driving License on completion.

You’ll find all these outdoor activities in the main arena.

Myself and my friend went on a Mission to Mars, which was great! The staff were so enthusiastic and full of energy. My favourite bit of all was seeing the huge moon, I could have looked at it for hours.
